Thomas Demovic, Senior Manager Credit and Collections, Sharp Electronics Corp.

Thomas Demovic, CCE, CICP is the Senior Manager of Credit and Collections at Sharp Electronics Coroporation.

He is a Current member of FCIB's Board of Advisors. Mr. Demovic holds NACM's most prestigious designation, the Certified Credit Executive (CCE), and FCIB's Certified International Credit Professional (CICP) designation.

He is also a 2005 alumnus of NACM's Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management (GSCFM).

 

 

Patricia D. Donnelly, Director of Credit and Risk Management, Osterman & Company, Inc.

Pat Donnelly is currently Director of Credit and Risk Management for Osterman & Company, an international distributor of engineering and commodity-grade thermoplastics.

Prior to Osterman, Pat was the Chief Financial Officer for Healthtrax Inc. Healthtrax is a medical fitness organization offering wellness programs at facilities located throughout the Northeast.

Much of Pat's professional career was in the banking industry as a Commercial Relationship Manager handling private and public middle market clients at large regional banking institutions including Citizens Bank/Royal Bank of Scotland and Fleet Bank/Bank of America.

Pat earned a Finance Degree from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, CT., and is a member of NCCA, NACM and FCIB. She is active in her church community and is a Host Family for A Better Chance organization which promotes education and diversity. Pat, along with her husband and two sons resides in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

 
 

reepBrenda Reep, CICP, Manager, Global Credit, Corporate Treasury, Corning, Inc.

Brenda Reep is the Manager of Global Credit in the corporate Treasury division at Corning, Incorporated.

She was appointed to this role in February 2010.   Brenda’s career at Corning spans 26 years with experience in various finance and control capacities. Prior to joining the Treasury division, Brenda was the manager of operations for Corning Shared Services in North America. She currently works out of the Corporate Headquarters offices in Corning, New York.  

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Elmira College in New York.

 

Byron M. Shoulton, Vice President/International Economist for FCIA Management Company

Byron M. Shoulton has been Vice President/International Economist for FCIA Management Company, a sub of Great American Insurance Co. since 1992. He joined FCIA in 1980 as a Latin American Analyst focusing on the Latin American debt crisis during which U.S. exporters faced record trade losses. In 1984, he became the Director of County Analysis and assumed responsibilities for global country analysis in managing FCIA's global credit and political risk portfolio. In 1987, he became the International Economist which was the precursor to his current position. His major responsibilities include monitoring global economic, trade & political trends impacting trade finance risks; conducting quarterly country rankings used to establish country credit limits and to price coverage of such risks for 130 countries; conducting country risk assessment on specific trade credit transactions; managing country database for tracking major economic/political trends globally; serving as chief FCIA contact globally for country risk intelligence gathering; providing advice to underwriters, senior management, brokers, banking clients and exporters on country conditions, trade policies, in major markets; traveling internationally on country fact-finding missions to help gauge country risks assumed under FCIA insurance policies; writing and editing quarterly 'FCIA Country Update' for distribution to clients; and, speaking at trade seminars. He was educated at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C.

Jan has recently driven financial transformation projects in two global telecom equipment providers. Prior to joining Wipro, Jan was senior partner at Deloitte Consulting, LLC. holding key leadership roles while building their Telecom, Media, and Technology practice. Jan has published numerous articles and has spoken extensively.
