Cynthia Wieme joined Norgren Inc., Denver-metro area, a division of IMI plc (UK), in 2014 as the director of credit and collections. She is a seasoned, international credit professional with more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, aviation, alternative energy, agriculture, software and construction. Her professional focus has been in creating credit policies, implementing Sarbanes Oxley controls and compliance, mentoring credit colleagues and developing teams, while enabling sales with payment options for the customer.

She serves on the Board of Directors for Great West Region Arthritis Foundation and Rocky Mountain Certified Credit Executives. She is an appointed member of the FCIB Advisory Council.

Cynthia has been a speaker at a variety of NACM events including CFDD regional conferences, NACM's Credit Congress and FCIB conferences, as well as in her leadership roles with the Arthritis Foundation.

Cynthia holds CCE certification from the National Association of Credit Management in addition to her CICP and ICCE certifications from FCIB. She is a member of NACM's Credit and Financial Development Division. She is also a member of the Rocky Mountain Certified Credit Executives, Colorado Business Women, and the Institute of Credit Management in the United Kingdom, through which she holds her ICM and MICM qualifications. Cynthia is an alumnus of NACM's Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management, and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Technology Management.

 

European Advisory Council Chair:
Michael Andreasen, ICCE
Senior Credit Analyst WE, Covestro GmbH

With over 25 years in international trade credit and risk management, Michael Andreasen, ICCE, CICP, began his career within the credit control department of TNT's Denmark office. He worked as credit analyst at the regional head office in Windsor, UK, before moving to the corporate head office in the Netherlands in 2009, where he held the role of Corporate Working Capital Process Manager.

 Throughout his career, Michael has been involved in designing standard global invoice-to-cash processes, drafting global credit policies, and was one of the main invoice-to-cash process specialists for his company’s award-winning global implementation and roll out of SAP FICO/MM.

 Michael now holds the position of Senior Credit Analyst at Covestro Gmbh (previously known as Bayer Material Sciences) in Leverkusen, Germany at its Western Europe Supply Chain Center.
