Romelio Hernandez is President of HMH Legal, a professional corporation specialized in credit and collection services in Mexico. He is based in Tijuana, Baja California, México, where he works with foreign exporting companies and collection agencies assisting them with their out-of-court and legal collection efforts throughout Mexico. His litigation experience of 18 years and exposure to international commercial law has allowed him to provide guidance to foreign companies in mitigating the various risks of selling international.
Romelio graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, and was admitted to practice law in Mexico since 1997. Romelio holds a Masters’ Degree in Comparative Law (LL.M.) from the University of San Diego School of Law (2011).
Larry O’Brien is the senior director, corporate credit at Potash Corporation, the world’s largest fertilizer enterprise by capacity, with responsibility for all domestic and international credit. He has final credit decision authority for all sales and is also responsible for review and approval of all credit language in both sales and vendor contracts.
With over 30 years of credit experience, Larry has been a speaker and panel member at Credit Congress, FCIB conferences and NACM conferences and industry meetings on the subject of domestic and international credit and financial statement analysis.
Larry is a graduate of Lewis University, Romeoville, IL with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and is a graduate of NACM’s Graduate School of Credit & Financial Management. He holds the Certified Credit Executive, Certified International Credit Professional, International Certified Credit Executive and the Registered Global Credit Professional designations.
