FCIB strives to best serve the needs of international credit and risk management professionals by continually searching for timely and relevant topics to keep YOU aware of the latest developments in global commercial credit.

FCIB actively seeks those professionals interested in sharing fresh insights to both the traditional and emerging challenges facing the international credit manager and trade financier as well as improving the knowledge base of our members through live events and webinars.

FCIB welcomes submissions pertaining to individual presentations at upcoming live events as well as webinar presentations. All completed online submissions will be peer reviewed* within a 6–12 month period. Should your submission be accepted, it will be scheduled 3–6 months from the date of its acceptance.

  • International Risk Assessment / Management
  • International Trade Finance Options
  • Trade Compliance
  • Trade Law

 

*Proposals are peer-reviewed and must include sufficient detail for evaluation of the content and the level of the target audience. Reviewers consider the quality, relevance, novelty, and timeliness of topics.

Program Formats

A. Individual Live Presentations

Submissions are welcome on a broad range of basic and advanced topics relating to international credit management. We encourage submissions that focus on advancing the profession, and they should promote and include skills acquisition and discussion of advanced knowledge related to international trade credit.

Length of time: 60min + 15 min Q&A

Submission Requirements

  • The outline for the session (maximum 250 words) should provide an overall description, including format, goals, needs statement, topic relevance for the audience.
  • Three clear educational objectives that attendees can expect to learn at the session.
  • If your topic has been presented previously, clearly describe how it will differ this time.


The committee will make every effort to group accepted presentations by topic.

B. Webinars

With challenges constantly presenting themselves to credit managers and trade finance professionals, FCIB seeks timely and expert-led webinars to address emerging challenges, offering solutions where they are most needed. The easy-to-use, interactive online platform provides an in-depth look at a broad range of topics, from the ever-changing landscape of doing business in different countries to existing and often overlooked areas of international credit management.

Length of time: 50min + 10min Q&A

Submission Requirements

  • The outline for the session (maximum 250 words) should provide an overall description, including format, goals, needs statement, topic relevance for the audience.
  • Three clear educational objectives that attendees can expect to learn at the session.
