Antoun Massaad

Antoun Massaad, CICP, MIEx, MICM is the Managing Director and founder of Cedar Rose International Services Ltd. Antoun is fluent in English, French, Arabic and Greek and a holder of both British and Lebanese passports. Antoun grew up in war-torn Lebanon, fled to Greece in 1989 and lived most of his adult life in the United Kingdom, now living in Cyprus since 2006. He has travelled extensively and has twice circumnavigated the globe.

Antoun has been specializing in business intelligence in the Middle East and North Africa having originally started in the field in the City of London for Waterlow Information Services Ltd in 1992. In

Lebanon, as a very young man, he worked as a Chief Tallyman for Arab Maritime & Shipping Agency, dealing with imports first hand.

Antoun was listed in the Who's Who of Young British Entrepreneurs in 2002. In 2004, he received a Business Man of the Year award from the East of England Development Agency. In 2002, he was granted Vocational Membership of the UK's Institute of Credit Management and, following nominations by clients in Spain and the UK, he was granted Full Membership of the Institute of Export. In 2011, he gained the Certified International Credit Professional qualification through his membership of FCIB.

Antoun was a guest speaker at the ECF EMEA Credit Forum meeting in February 2011 and has been invited to speak again at Google, Dublin in November.

Antoun's personal objective is to provide the most accurate, honest and efficient service currently available for credit and business information in the Middle East, Gulf and North African (Arabic speaking) countries in particular. His clients now include international corporate bodies, two of the world's top four accountancy firms as well as banks and governments.

Cedar Rose now has offices in Limassol, Cyprus and Beirut, Lebanon.
