Trade Credit Risks: Jay Tenney, Trade Risk Group

Mr. Tenney has over twenty years of experience in the Trade Credit and Political Risk Insurance markets. As the Managing Director for the Southwest office of Trade Risk Group, the premiere independent specialty broker of Trade Credit Insurance in the U.S., his responsibilities include the managing and generation of accounts receivable insurance policies. Previously, Mr. Tenney was Sales Vice President for Euler Hermes in Dallas, Texas, overseeing the world's largest credit insurer's Southwest Region. During his 20+ year tenure in credit insurance, Mr. Tenney has assisted hundreds of companies with their domestic and international credit risk management needs for all areas of the world.
Prior to joining Euler Hermes , Mr. Tenney was Regional Sales Director for a U.S. based medical device provider with domestic and international responsibilities and a Financial Advisor with E.F. Hutton. Mr. Tenney has a BS in Agricultural Economics/Marketing from the University of Illinois, sits on the board of NACM Southwest, is a member of the North Texas District Export Council and has served on the Trade Finance Committee of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce. He is also a frequent speaker at financial and credit related seminars and conferences.

Political Hot Spots: Christopher McKee, CEO/Owner, The PRS Group

Christopher McKee received his Ph.D. in international political economy from Queen’s University (Canada) and is recognized globally as an authority on geopolitical and country risk assessment. Active in the field for the past 25 years, Christopher has headed The PRS Group since 2010, and functions as the Executive Chairman of the International Country Risk Guide, through which he supervises a team of analysts globally, and is ultimately responsible for the ICRG ratings each month.
A former faculty member the University of British Columbia, Christopher later worked in the field of limited recourse financing in Latin America; provided economic game theory briefings to Canada’s intelligence community; and led the country’s private sector development initiatives in Latin America and the Middle East. Along the way, Christopher’s private equity dealings have continued, and he has addressed a range of audiences, from the G20 to GE, from Saudi Arabia to Kazakhstan. The author of a number of books and monographs, Christopher’s latest book is titled, Quid Periculum? Measuring and Managing Risk in an Age of Uncertainty (co-authored with Peter Marber – Harvard, Aperture Investors)
