Recent disruptions in the Middle East and elsewhere highlight how supply chains, customer concentration, and country exposure create powerful adjacent risks that can quickly undermine an otherwise strong balance sheet. This session will show credit managers how to build geopolitical and supply chain risk insights into credit analysis for key customers, helping them spot emerging risks earlier and sharpen their credit decisions.

Responsibilities

As the Practice Leader for Structured Credit and Political Risk, David oversees the management and strategic direction of the practice. He is responsible for guiding some of Aon’s largest corporate, banking, and private equity clients, delivering innovative solutions tailored to their unique political and credit risk challenges.

Experience

David brings over 20 years of specialized industry expertise to Aon’s team. Before joining Aon, he served as Senior Vice President and Growth Leader at Marsh, where he played a pivotal role in expanding their credit and political risk capabilities. David also contributed to Alliant’s global credit and political risk team, further deepening his expertise. He began hiscareer in the industry in 2004.

David specializes in advising lenders and corporates on the management of complex credit and political risks. His expertise spans the energy and power sectors, project finance for banks, and data centers, where he develops and implements effective risk mitigation strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
